Our Founders
Brandon Kelly
CEO & Chairman of Investment Committee Brandon Kelly started in real estate investing in 1997, and quickly joined the Building Owners Management Association (BOMA) to build his expertise and knowledge. While a member he was elected to the State leadership on the board of directors and completed his CPM (Certified Property Manager) certificate. He has managed as many as 137 properties and transactions totaling nearly $68MM and 850+ doors spanning residential, commercial, multi-family, and six hotels. He has served as Vice President of a Commercial Construction company, VP of Sales and Marketing, and Founded his own consulting & management company.
Brandon has led many projects including completing an MBA, and PhD with a focus on acquisition, real estate, and company valuation for mergers. He also serves on four non-profit boards of directors in volunteer capacities in his spare time. Additionally, Brandon has started or bought nine businesses over his career. He is an International Speaker having spoken to 930,000+ people, Author of six books, Adventurist, Outdoor Advocate, Highly decorated scouter, and Coach. Brandon also has relationships to operate with many of the National Flags including IHG, Marriott, Wyndham, and Choice. In addition, our network of Commercial Property Managers are certified with all other major Flags making transitions in every property that much easier. We have owned a Holiday Inn Express, The Metropolitan, The Western, Best Western Garden Inn, Emporia Convention Center, and other notable projects, as well as actively acquiring properties around the country. Brandon has invented and tested that identifies over 1000+ items and data points to analyze before we acquire a property. This helps to mitigate most risks that other investors/property managers tend to overlook and accommodates for 30+ types of highest and best use for a property. Moving the Scale with every acquisition is his mantra, and "Elevating Your Effort to Elevate Your Excellence" is our daily expectation. |
Luke Watkins
Director of Acquisitions Luke has been in Real Estate Investing his entire career. In his early days he would help align families with their "Dream Home", covering territories across both Utah, where he was born and raised, and then later Texas, where you'll find him working, and residing today. He has been apart of nearly 1,100 transactions around the country over his career and specializes in finding acquisitions at a deep discount. He has helped run the remodel crews and has a broad background real estate and leadership overall.
After finding success in the housing market he decided to share his skills, starting the Rockstar Entrepreneur Real Estate online investment group investing in single/multi family homes. This elevated his career to new heights, and even landed him on TV 13's Investment Segment on Local Real Estate Investing. When Luke isn't helping our clients find their "Next Investment" you will find him with his lovely wife and 5 children. He is also into long distance running, and has completed a handful of marathons along his way, as well as placing in a triathlon. Alan & Emma Kennedy
Acquisitions and Accounting Emma is an Air Force Veteran, a CPA, and a Real Estate Agent. Her drive and commitment to excellence is manifested in all she does. Emma graduated with a Bachelors in Accounting in 2007 and received her Master’s in Accounting in 2013 from American Military University.
As a CPA she has worked in various capacities from hedge fund accounting to book keeping before she joined the Magnitude team. She has also represented numerous private clients through the buying/ selling process and has been an active real estate investor for many years. Alan gained his passion for real estate while working in real estate development. He graduated from Weber State University in 2013 with Bachelors in Technical Sales. He started working for US Development, and during his time at USD Alan had the opportunity to work on a number of projects ranging from Multi-Family housing, to Movie Theaters and more. He was then offered a position at Goldman Sachs. Alan’s love for real-estate eventually led him to leave Goldman and become a licensed agent and an active real estate investor. Like Emma, Alan is also a Veteran and is actively serving in the Army National Guard as a MEDEVAC Company Commander/ Blackhawk pilot. Alan and Emma have had the distinct pleasure of raising three boys. They are extremely active with their family while getting into the great outdoors. Together Alan and Emma never cease in their drive to raise the bar both in real estate and as a family. |
